About	John Henry Pieper, age 64 of Gretna, Va formally of Califon, NJ died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA . Born July 16, 1949 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Sutton-Pieper (Class of 72); one son, Keith Pieper of Gretna; one daughter, Heather Pieper Dalton and her husband, Michael of Gretna; two brothers, Robert Pieper and his wife, Elaine of Rapid City, SD, and Kevin Pieper and his friend Debbie of Phillipsburg, NJ; three sisters, Ann Bauer and her husband, James of Bloomsbury, NJ, Karen Gares and her friend Anthony of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Cindy Pieper of Phillipsburg, NJ; and four grandchildren, Cole Dalton, Samantha Dalton, Brenn & Preston Pieper. John served in the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division1969-71 with a tour of duty in Vietnam.
