I have known Mr. Ramsey for over 75 years as we both carried papers for the Des Moiunes Register in the late 1930's and early 1940's while attending North High. Paul Ramsey has always had a love for Iowa and has for the past several years donated several millions of dollars to establish the Ramsey Farm adjacent to Mount Ayr, Iowa. This is an Iowa Historical farm where today thousands of school children and adults learn what rural life was like in early Iowa. In addition Paul has donated several thousand dollars to refurbish the old playhouse building in Mount Ayr, Iowa where today the community enjoys good live plays. In addition Paul has set on many prestigious company boards in the Los Angeles, Ca. and has given both time and money to various charities.
