About	im MOORE Obituary James Walter Moore, age 77, of Spokane, WA passed away Tuesday March 8, 2022. His family was at his side when he departed to be with the Lord. He was born to Homer and Lenore Moore in Pendleton, OR on June 2, 1944. From the age of 9, Jim grew up in Spokane, WA. Jim graduated from North Central High School in 1962. He served in the Navy on the USS Yorktown during the Vietnam war. He was a graduate of Portland State University and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. Jim came to know the Lord while in the Navy at the Long Beach Servicemen's Center. In 1968, he married Millie, his high school sweetheart. They began a life of ministry together. Jim faithfully served the Lord as a missionary pastor for 40 years in Switzerland, France and Belgium. He retired in 2010 back to Spokane, WA. Jim is survived by his wife Millie of 53 years, sons Jeffrey (Rebecca), Jean-Michel, Jerry (Kerri), his brother Sam (Debbie) Markham and sister Phyllis Geving. He also leaves behind eight precious grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. His siblings Patricia, Cecil, Marilyn and Danny preceded him in death.
