Here is the page where you can find the REGISTRATION FORM ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/163180060377136/ ) for the reunion which can be opened, printed and mailed in with your check to Jo Ann Klag-Keller . You can direct any questions to her, myself, or Carole Horvath-Stange.

Make checks payable to: NORMANDY REUNION, Class of '77

We need an accurate head count in the next 4 weeks so food can be ordered, etc. Our goal is to get 200 class members. We had 144 at the 35th. Please advertise this one with vim and vigor as we are capable of doing. Work hard to get anybody out who has yet to come and even harder for those who feel such events are of little benefit. We know better...otherwise, we wouldn't be going either!

Faculty and staff. We'd greatly appreciate your filling out the form as well though you are our GUESTS and need not enclose anything for the ticket. That being said, we will also greet you with open arms at the door on the night of if you cannot commit just yet due to scheduling uncertainties.

Also, check out one item on the registration form regarding SPONSORING A CLASSMATE's ATTENDANCE. If you know someone who wishes to come but does not have the resources for a ticket would you consider sponsoring them?

In the future we'd like to fine tune this activity and offer additional programs geared toward helping those in most need but it all starts by your attendance on October 28th, 2017. Won't you join us or sponsor someone who might come in your stead as we create even more excitement with these thoughts and concepts of how to utilize the resources of 700+ individuals for more than we used to do when we were mere 20 year olds- kids! .

What better way to stay young at heart and in spirit? Give us your ideas and opinions please. It was our time 40 years ago walking down the aisle at Blossom. It's our time AGAIN, 40 years more mature, 40 years wiser, 40 years more successful, with a new set of challenging goals, tasks, and priorities. We should NOT ONLY look to have fun but discover how to be helpful to ourselves and ultimately others---

Didn't our parents do that for us? Didn't we do that for our kids? Can't we do that for others? GO INVADERS!

Hey there Guys and Dolls- We are now heading into the final 2 months before the Big Gig. I've received several questions about the reunion. Don't be afraid of calling or texting me directly at 216.287.8090 for anything that's unclear but allow me to dispell one rumor that seems to have started out of nowhere....don't ask how it started...cuz I ain't got a clue....however, reunion tickets ARE NOT...I repeat...NOT SOLD OUT....in fact, we're only making the formal announcement to start accepting money for tickets TODAY........We will NEVER SELL OUT of reunion tickets. If necessary, we will bust down the back walls of PJ's and carry the festivities into the parking lot if that many people show up.....so please KILL THAT RUMOR. There are 2 EVENT sites for the reunion where you can register if you know that you're coming or not.....you cannot pay at this site but certainly all the details of the WHEN, WHERE, HOW MUCH, etc. are there....Take a look at the RIGHT SIDE of this page and you should see 2 sites under UPCOMING GROUP EVENTS. Click on either one and all the details are pretty much there.....with the exception of payments and sale of tickets. I will now tell you about ticket sales. The first method of payment will be to send in your check or money order for $50.00/person to Jo Ann Klag-Keller. There will be a form uploaded by Sept. 4th to be filled out with the mailing address where it should be returned along with the form that will ask for updated contact information, etc. A 2nd more 21st Century way of paying your Entrance to the Ball would be to use VENMO which is a payment application you can use from your PC or Smartphone. You download the app from the internet, follow instructions to set up your account, and then, start 'VENMO'ing" anybody you like. If you've never heard of VENMO that's OK....your kids or grandkids have....they pay each other all the time using the service. And you know why? IT'S TOTALLY FREE for both the SENDER and the SENDEE....unlike PAYPAL that charges fees. So, if anybody would like to VENMO me (Dariush Saghafi) you may also do that starting IMMEDIATELY. Please attach information to the payment that includes the # of tickets you are requesting and contact information. I will confirm with you receipt of the money. I understand that some people are not comfortable with that sort of electronic transaction which does carry some risk since personal and bank information must be input at the time of registration....I offer it as a more expedient option to U.S. MAIL. Again, if you've any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me at 216.287.8090. Or talk to Jo Ann Klag-Keller or Carole Horvath-Stange. GO INVADERS but on Oct. 28th, 2017....COME INVADERS! to your 40th Class Reunion.

Thanks to all on the committee who have been working hard hours and in between their own really rough and at times "uncertain" personal situations in order to bring this into the home stretch. Obviously, we feel an obligation to make this announcement just as soon as possible but also given the number of unexpected turns and twists we've experienced.....NO SOONER than when the agreement is signed by both parties.

Thanks to Mr. Gaab who we had dinner with along with his lovely and charming daughter (Judy) on Black Friday giving us his thoughts and opinions on where he had chosen to sit down and talk TURKEY with....! He's amazing and has agreed to be one of our special guests of honor at the gathering....as he was last time. We're all excited for that fact alone. We're also trying very hard to convince at least 200 classmates this time around to agree to come by and join us for everything that we're planning......including a HALLOWEEN Bash that night since it'll be our first attempt at such a party!

AS AN IMPORTANT ASIDE----

During this holiday season please don't forget to hug those around you and just as importantly YOURSELF! And what we mean by that is to PLEASE START LOOKING AND BELIEVING HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE to your coworkers, your friends, and most of all your family. Please start investing the time and money (as necessary) into TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF.....Don't think you have to be in 2nd place for any reason. There's always time to see to your own personal needs (mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial) followed by optimizing anybody else's. In fact, if you want to REALLY BE SURE anybody else's health is at its peak and their needs are being fully met you MUST, MUST, MUST be at the top of your game in every respect or the stacked pieces come tumbling down, DOWN, DOWN!....Make sense?

Therefore, ergo, and thusly---- We say Be well! Be helpful to yourself and others, and Be Safe. We will chat again very soon and don't hesitate to call on me for any questions, concerns, or comments you have about the reunion....love to hear them...love to talk to people and you should know that we are EXCITED to some degree of ridiculousness that we believe this REUNION...may be one of the most spectacular in terms of STUDENT, FACULTY, AND STAFF attendance including Class members from Shiloh Jr. High and Parma High who hold special importance to the Class of '77.

I promise we've got more stuff coming down the pike to start pushing the excitement and by all means....HELP US drive this thing by talking to us, keeping the boards active on Facebook, Classmates.com, and Alumniclass.com- and by signing up as GOING on the 2 FB pages we have set up for people to commit their attendance. Talk the event up by bringing at least 1 or 2 people who you know have never come or who may have come but have now decided there's something else going on taking precedence.....not this one gang.....this is going to be RIDICULOUS and we want this to be one of the most incredibly well attended 40th reunion that NHS or any high school in Ohio has ever seen. Help us get to 200--- Remember, from the last commercial for the 35th reunion that Mr. Gaab was on....he offered to have a beer with you if you came down!

GO INVADERS!
