About	Don passed away peacefully from multiple myeloma at the Newport Long-Term Care Center. Those who knew him remember him as friendly, interested in outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting, willing to help others, and possessing a wonderful imagination. He was proud of his work for the USFS and the USACE, and his service in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He graduated from Newport High School and Eastern Washington University. He is buried beside his father, Frank Jubon, at the Newport Cemetery. Those wishing to remember him with a donation may do so through the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association, the Newport Alumni Association, or any veterans' organization.
