New Britain High School Alumni

Barry Stark, 1963 NBHS graduate, is serving as President of the
30,000- member National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) for 2007-08. He served on the NASSP Board of Directors from
2002-06.

Mr. Stark was the President of the Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals from 2001-02 and the Nebraska Middle School Principal of the Year in 2002.

He is completing his 38th year in education, serving as a Physical Education teacher/coach for six years and a building principal or assistant principal for 32 years. Stark has taught in Connecticut, Iowa and Nebraska. He has served as a principal in three Nebraska cities.

Mr. Stark is currently the Principal of Norris Middle School in Firth, Nebraska. Firth is located twelve miles south of Lincoln.
