What is Trevon Wesco known for?

Trevon Wesco, an accomplished American football player, was born on September 12, 1995, in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He is notable for being a gifted tight end and fullback in the National Football League (NFL). Wesco graduated from Musselman High School in Inwood, West Virginia, where his athletic abilities began to shine.

Following high school, Wesco attended Lackawanna College from 2014 to 2015 before transferring to West Virginia University from 2016 to 2018. During his college years, he excelled in American football, garnering attention from the NFL. In the 2019 NFL Draft, Wesco was selected as the 121st overall pick in the fourth round by the New York Jets.

Wesco's professional career includes stints with multiple teams. Initially, he was with the New York Jets from 2019 to 2021. During this time, he was largely used as a fullback, although he occasionally played as a tight end. Despite facing several injuries and being placed on injured reserve multiple times, Wesco demonstrated determination and resilience throughout.

In 2022, he joined the Chicago Bears. His journey continued in 2023 when he signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, where he presently holds the position of a tight end.

As of 2022, Wesco had made 8 receptions totaling 113 receiving yards in his NFL career. A significant highlight of his career came in 2018 when he was named to the First-team All-Big 12, a testament to his skills and contribution to the game.
