Class of 2010, Thank you for your patience as we get the 10 year Class Reunion planned. We would like to inform you of our current progress due to the impact of COVID-19. We are wanting to host a two day event on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd. The event on Friday will be a tailgate at the Track & Field across from the High School, followed by the High School Homecoming Football game. This would be a family- friendly,free event that would provide a more laid-back, drop-in social time. The High School Homecoming Football game is dependent on State and Local regulations following COVID-19 social distancing policies. Purchasing tickets to this football game would be your personal responsibility, however, we will have a section for the Class of 2010 that you and your family can watch the game in! The event on Saturday, October 3rd will be a paid for/ticketed event. Currently, we are looking at two places; one in Athens and one in Madison for this event. Both places would include an alcohol purchase and small food purchase with your ticket, and hopefully some musical entertainment! The reason we have not released the event locations yet is due to the venues regulations for COVID-19. As you are aware, we are not living in a time where large gatherings are welcomed, hence, we are working with the two locations to provide you with the safest and best option that will ensure you can have fun, even if you have to wear a facemask. We will be finalizing our plans this month and putting out the details on Facebook, Eventbrite, and the Alumni Page. Please note, that although we want to have a great reunion, we also want to keep you and your family safe. We will keep everyone posted about changes that occur, until then, keep safe, we look forward to seeing you....it’s been 10 years.
