About Thelma (Toots) Jane Wentz-Stucke passed away at the age of 75 on April 5, 2017, in Sewickley Heights, PA
Thelma was born on February 11, 1942, in Sewickley, PA to Warren and Mary Wentz. She graduated from Moon Area High School in 1960, a longtime resident of Crescent and a dedicated Crescent Township employee starting as Township Secretary, January 1977, being promoted to Township Manager in January 1980, and continued on for 18 years.
She married John (Jack) Stucke on November 17, 1967, and she was the proud mother of Jacqueline Michele (Stucke) Porter, 45 married to William Porter III, Deborah Ann (Stucke) Szczypinski 43 married to Christopher Joseph Szczypinski, and Loving Grandmother of Haley Elizabeth and Jacob John Szczypinski and Alec and Billy Porter.
Thelma was incredibly passionate and proud of her family. She is survived by dear nephew Jay Gass and family wife Gerri, children Christopher, Kim and Jason, dear “daughters” Renee Tarquinio, Kerri Biesencamp, Karen Fadool, Tracy King, Rhoda Oktela, Brenda Hall, Amy Egan and their families.
Thelma is preceded in death by her Beloved Jack Stucke, sister and brother in law Barb and Jack Gass, great niece Lara Gass and Great Aunt Clara Pfoff.
Thelma was an active member of New Bethlehem Church, Moon Class of 1960 Reunion Committee, Crescent Township Historical Society and the Woodlawn Chapter #164 Order of the Eastern Star, however her most important achievements came while watching all of?her beautiful daughters and grandchildren grow into wonderful people.? The world would be a much better place if everyone she touched could excel to be?half the person Thelma was; CELEBRATING everything

Visitations will be held at Copelands Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township, PA 15108
Thursday, April 6, 2017: 6-9pm
Friday, April 7, 2017: 2-4pm & 6-9pm, with Eastern Star Service at 7:30 PM
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am at New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 183 New Bethlehem Church Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001
The Family would also like to extend a gracious and heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Masonic Village. Mom was truly blessed to have so many caring and compassionate people in her life. Thank you so much for all you did.
