About	Gerald Winton Rushman, age 58, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at West Hills Health and Rehab. He was born in Aliquippa on August 19, 1957 to the late John Joseph and Mary Lynn (Williams) Rushman. Beloved husband and best friend for 28 years of Joanne (Goldbach) Rushman; loving father of Terrence L. Deemer of Connellsvile, PA and Jeremiah D. Rushman (Catherine) of TN; cherished brother of Jonas Rushman (Nelia) of Ambridge and the late John Rushman, Jr.; proud grandfather of Nicholas Deemer, Jennifer Rushman, Caileigh Cordo; uncle of Trevor Rushman and the late Heather Rushman. Jerry was active in St. Margaret Mary Church with his wife as an extraordinary Eucharistic minister. A member of the Knights of Columbus he held his Fourth Degree and was former Grand Knight, as well as holding other offices, was a field agent and worked with their Charities. Graduating from Moon Area High School in 1975, he had attended ICM School of Business. He had been employed in sales with Moon Township Honda. He and his wife Joanne loved to travel and experience each new area. Visitation Thursday 2-4, 6-8 with honors bestowed by the Knights of Columbus at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be recited Friday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass on at 10 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church. Father Frank Kurimsky officiating. Burial will be private at Resurrection Cemetery. A determined opponent having survived several bouts of cancer, his family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations if desired may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
