About	Richard W. Roycroft, 63, of Moon Twp, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in his home. He was born in Sewickley, PA on November 28, 1959, the son of the late George & Myrtle “June” (Hess) Roycroft. Richard was a 1977 graduate of Moon Area High School and 1982 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Richard worked as a pharmacist at Washington Hospital for many years. He then became an independent IT consultant for pharmaceutical information systems for several large healthcare providers on the east coast. Recently he was the Senior Software Engineering Architect for Northwell Health. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and a lover of broadway theater and fine dining. He traveled extensively and was a proud Lifetime Hilton Diamond Member. He is survived by his Spouse, Russell E. Johnson. Siblings: James Roycroft (Cheryl), NC; Sandra Doughty (David), Moon Twp.; Beverly McCormack, VA; Cousin Carol Roycroft, Moon Twp, and a “Chosen Family” of dear friends. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael McCormack. Friends will be received on Friday, October 6th from 3-8PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 7th at 11AM at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral (328 Sixth Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15222) Everyone please meet at the Cathedral. Private interment will take place in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
