About	Jonathon R. Danko passed away peacefully on Jan. 17, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Chicago, Ill., and God has another musician in heaven. He was born Dec. 31, 1952 in Coraopolis, a son of the late Bernard Danko. Growing up he was an active member of Boy Scouts Troop 905 in Moon Township, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating high school in 1970 and a tour with the United States Coast Guard, John lived in the New Orleans area for more than 20 years, working in construction and commercial printing. Living in New Orleans allowed him to pursue his love of music -- playing, writing and teaching. During that pursuit he found and married his greatest love, Tina. Later they moved to Chicago, where he continued to work construction and pursue his music. He is survived by his wife, Tina Danko of Chicago; his mother, Helen Yoders of Auburndale, Fla.; a sister, Becky Black of Auburndale, Fla.; a brother, Doug Danko of Hampton, Va.
