About	Brenda Louise Toia Farris, 61, a Coraopolis resident most of her life, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Brenda was born in Moon Township on April 14, 1961, daughter of the late Lester and Mary (Toia) Prekop. Brenda was 1979 graduate of Moon Area High School. She went on to California University of Pennsylvania and obtained her associate degree. She worked at CCAC with students with special needs. She also worked at PA Connecting Communities as a receptionist and an event planner. For 15 years, she had worked for Metso Minerals at South Pointe. Currently, she was employed by Moon Walmart as a greeter and a cashier. As we think of Brenda, we will remember kindness, sweetness, and acceptance. She also was a great baker “best pizzelles ever!” and she loved to cook. Beloved wife of James Farris, Jr.-together for 38 years; loving mother of James Farris III and Nicole Leffler and her husband Ryan; devoted grandmother of Ellionna and Naudia; cherished sister of Maria Prekop. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Friday at 11 AM. An animal lover at heart, family suggests donations to an animal charity of your choice.
