About	Harry Wayne Heinlein, 72, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at his residence. Harry was born in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania on August 21, 1945. As a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Harry followed in his mother and father’s footsteps, Wayne and Geraldine Heinlein (deceased). Harry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janice Heinlein; children and grandchildren Katy Heinlein, loving husband Joel Orr and child Eli; David Heinlein, loving spouse Julie and children Matthew, Jonathan, Lauren, and Bethany and soon-to-be born Jane; Daniel Heinlein, loving spouse Jessica and children Katelyn and Austin. Harry is also survived by sister, Darlene “Dee” Butterbaugh Hogg, husband Jim Hogg of Hendersonville, NC, and Theodore Heinlein, wife Carol of Hendersonville, NC, brother-in-law, David V. Stiles and wife Cindy of Cambria, California, and numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. Each survivor was special to Harry and was prayed for and bathed in God’s love. Harry worked at excellence for his entire life. God and Harry with the loving support of Jan worked at excellence before God and honesty and integrity before man. Harry retired from Bayer Corporation of Baytown, Texas having worked as an engineering intern following two years of engineering education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1966, until retirement. After graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, military service as a US Army reserve officer, and graduation from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Masters of Chemical Engineering, Harry went to work for Bayer full time. He also earned a Masters of Environmental Engineering from Lamar University. He retired from Bayer Baytown in 2003 to enjoy years of service with Marketplace Ministries, Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief, Kiwanis, Engineering Contractors, and the Texas Department of Environmental Quality, Houston office. Harry’s highest privilege was to serve on the environmental inspection team for Metro Light Rail of Houston. All of these pale, though, when compared to the privilege of knowing God through His grace alone. Come to Jesus before it is too late. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Cedar Bayou Baptist Church. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Cedar Bayou Baptist Church, with members and friends from Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union; Cedar Bayou Baptist Church; Golden Triangle Baptist Network; Memorial Baptist Church; and Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church. Services are under the direction of Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services of Baytown. Those desiring to Glorify God to honor the memory of Harry Heinlein are asked to contribute to the Cedar Bayou Baptist Church Building Fund, or the Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief Fund.
