Ross Carlson passes away from complications of leukemia

Ross Carlson, class of 1978, passed away April 26, 2014, in Minnesota. There will be a service and reception for Ross June 22, 2014 at the Veterans Memorial Building in Lafayette California at 2 pm. He was diagnosed with leukemia in January 2012, was cured of the leukemia but died after his body was rejected by his new immune system. He is survived by his wife Pam and two teenage boys, his parents, sister Joan, class of 79 and brother Scott, class of 75.

Hello!

I am a current senior at monta vista high school and a journalist from the newspaper. Because monta vista's fortieth anniversary is coming up, the paper wanted to bring back an alumnus from the first few graduating classes to sit for an hour in school. The paper would write an article about their feelings and experiences being back at mvhs.
