1980. First day of high school. To me the school was huge, scary and to many rooms to even count. Coming from Hart-Ransom little country
school to this huge school. Very overwhelming. I
could not remember or find my very first class. I was so nervous and overwhelmed and sat down
on a picnic table in the court yard and started
crying. Two Senior girls were walking past me an
asked if I was alright. I told them I was lost and
could not find my 1st period class. They were so
sweet and sympathetic towards me. They said,
no problem, we will help you find your class.
They walked me to my class. I said thank you to
them and they said no problem. My regret is that
I cant remember their names. I will never forget them. Its one of my greatest memories.
