The Weekend’s Extra Activities: - Friday 8pm: Preparty at Ercole's Bar in Downtown MB – Come join us to kick off the weekend with a drink or two! - Saturday 11am: Mira Costa High School Tour (1 hour) – Given by our very own Mr. Bill Fauver! Meet at the Rose Garden in front of the old admin bldg. - Saturday Before the Reunion (time not specified): Preparty at “Naja's Place” – a fun bar located on the Redondo Beach Boardwalk very close to The Crowne Plaza Hotel (http://www.najasplace.com) - Sunday Late Morning/Early Afternoon: MB Hometown Fair – Many of us are planning to meet-up with friends and their families at the Fair on Sunday morning. A likely meeting place for many of us with small kids? The Diaper Derbies and Tot Trot! Or anywhere nearby on Dorsey Field. I’m sure a large faction will also be in the Beer Garden… Also, Mira Costa ’88 T-shirts are available to buy for $15 thanks to the proactive work by Kim Haky. Buy one early and wear it at the Fair or during the 10K Race! Here are a number of different ways you can get one: •Anytime as of Monday, 9/29, from the (Kerri) Morigaki house - 567 29th St, MB. (310) 545-7888 •At any of the scheduled pre- and post-events mentioned above… •At the reunion itself (though perhaps keep it a bit hush-hush – not sure Great Reunions will be happy about this sideline. Look for Kim Haky.) •At the Fair on Saturday and Sunday (most likely somewhere in or near the Beer Garden -- look for a Committee Member) Last two notices: - There will be a slideshow of fun old photos from high school that will run during the reunion. If you have pictures to add, please send them to Holly by Sunday night! - There are currently (as of 9/24) 107 tickets purchased for the reunion night (check-out the Facebook.com Mira Costa High School 1988 Reunion group page to see the current list of attendees). If we can get this up to 125 by Tuesday, 9/30, Great Reunions will throw-in a photographer for the night… Spread the word! Buy your tickets now if you haven’t yet! See you then!!! You can buy your tickets on the web at www.greatreunions.com or at the door on the night of the reunion (though in that case I don't believe you will be guaranteed a dinner or bio book). Ticket prices are now $101 per person.
