Former BC Player Kerry Curran DeShazo Honored as ACC Legend
Kerry Curran DeShazo will be honored at this year's ACC Tournament.

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Former Boston College guard Kerry Curran DeShazo has been named to the fourth annual class of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Women's Basketball Legends. The 12 representatives, one from each ACC school, will be honored at the 2008 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament, held in Greensboro, North Carolina, March 6-9, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The ACC legends will be recognized during the ACC Legends Luncheon on Friday, March 7, as well as on the court at halftime of the first semifinal game on Saturday, March. 8.

BOSTON COLLEGE - Kerry Curran DeShazo (1990-94)

A four-year career as point guard for BC...Was named to the Big East All-Rookie team her freshman year...An All-Big East third-team as a sophomore...All-Big East first-team as a senior...Remains the only BC player to have recorded more than 1,500 points and 500 assists...Ranks third all-time among Eagles with 1,691 career points...Also ranks third in career assists (528) and field goals made (640), fourth in steals (182) and three point field goals made (105), fifth in free throws made (306) and 10th in games played (110)...Inducted in the BC Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2003.
