Ernest R Myers, PhD,1976, was recently announced in the AARP Winter 2011 Newsletter as a distinguished administrator, teacher and researcher in the graduate programs at the Washington D.C. University of the District of Columbia {UDC), and the Federal City College, a predecessor institution. For his notable work, he was awarded the Professor Emeritus status on April/22, 2010 at the UDC Annual Faculty Appreciation Luncheon.

Congratulations, as a distinguished administrator, teacher and researcher in the graduate programs at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) and the Federal City College, and at being awarded the Professor Emeritus status on April 22, 2010 at the UDC Annual Faculty Appreciation Luncheon. We are delighted to know about your accomplishment and are very proud of you and your hard work.

Clearly, you are living the UI&U mission every day. Your notable work inspires other highly motivated adults who are seeking academic programs that engage, enlighten, and empower them in their pursuit in a lifetime of learning and service. Through your efforts, you are helping to advance the mission of UI&U: to empower adults to acquire, apply, and create knowledge through interdisciplinary, flexible, and collaborative programs focusing on social relevance, personal enrichment, and professional advancement.
