Dear High School Classmates, it’s been almost 40 years!! It’s time for a party!!
We am working on the 40th Year ReUnion - Class Of 78 Event. The tentative date is Saturday, August 25, 2018 at:

It will be a 4 hour event. The evening will include dinner, dancing, cash bar ($4-$7 drinks), we will have a DJ, a Photographer, and perhaps an entertainer/emcee. The projected cost is $125.00 per classmate and $75.00 per guest. Payments will be made through the Signature Grand website.
The Ballroom holds 75-100 people. Valet parking is included, you can also park your own car. I will keep you updated as this develops. Of course we can discuss an additional event and your ideas and suggestions. Please send me any comments, and let me know if your on-board.
I have 35 names on my list so far, you are one of them. More classmates are sending me their emails and I will be updating everyone over the course of the next several months. I have you on the list for updates. We are like family, I have known many of you since 6th grade, some of you have known each other since kindergarten.

Yes, I am busy, but I get a lot done. Please have faith in me to lead this project to completion. I have had help from Michele Johnson and Josephina Bustillo Almanla.
I know that we are all busy with what's left of our lives, buts its only fitting that we take a pause (after 40 years) to come together and get caught up.

The evening will start of with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, dancing, and the opportunity to catch up with your friends from the Class of 1978. We will have a photographer and a DJ, and I will be the host.
Several of your classmates will get 3-5 minutes on the microphone and I am convinced that this will be a magical evening. Please trust that I am fully capable of running this event. Several classmates are involved, but I am solely responsible to The Signature Grand for this event.
I was hoping that The Signature Grand could accept payments through their website, but they cannot. Payment options are simple:
1) You can mail me a check or money order for $100 payable to The Signature Grand ($90 for non-MCC grads) and I will present it to them and you will be listed in my records as paid in full. Send me an email notifying me that you have sent me a check to cover your attendance at the MCC Class of 78 Reunion. I will acknowledge receipt of your funds via email.

We are all busy with our lives. I respect your privacy and I will not share any info that you send me. I am doing my best to honor my classmates with a Reunion after 40 years. It is simply impossible to do this by committee. Please feel free to email me any input and I will consider it. I do not have time to be involved in any other aspect of a reunion weekend. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't attend a satellite event, it simply means that I cannot commit to it.
