Dan Keenan

Class of 1974

Hi Everyone,
Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of some aspect iof my high school days. Tab Beverly, Denice Beverly, Bev Herm, Jan Johnson, Berj Yepremian, Coach Ehmann, Ms. Lamb, Coach Cooley, all the football games at city stadium, the Greg Stead Bowl in the Orange Bowl (as a sophmore), all the after game activities with Leslie Juriet (who died in 2008 with breast cancer). I miss the ole biology class that Mr. Ehmann taught with his niece in the back row, Kim. I remember the nights that Tab stayed over at my house and the cheerleaders wraped my car with soap and toilet paper and the day Tab put the head of a Irish setter through the grill of my MG while driving to a party. There is so much to say but to say THANK YOU Killian High should suffice. I am now a doctor of Education, a retired pilot with the Marine Corps and with Pan AM and TWA. I am now the Co-Executive Director for a new nonprofit civic education organization called American Scholars in Washington, D.C.. It is a lot of work but I am grooming it like my child. It is what our country needs and I have a great team to make it sucessful. Thanks Killian for the memories, for my friends, girl friends, and my crooked fingers from from football
