About	VIRGINIA BEACH - Danny Lee Kitchen, who grew up in Newport News and graduated from Menchville High School in 1979, was fatally shot during an argument with his uncle Friday night, Virginia Beach police said. Police were called to a trailer at Wedgewood Mobile Home Park near Kempsville and found the 34-year-old Kitchen dead on the floor of a trailer. He had been shot in the head, said Virginia Beach police spokesman Mike Carey. Detectives questioned Kitchen's uncle, John W. Kitchen, for several hours before charging the uncle with second-degree murder and using a firearm in a felony, Carey said. The suspect was being held without bond in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center Tuesday. Carey said the shooting followed an argument between Danny Lee Kitchen and his uncle. The victim lived with his uncle. Kitchen was a carpenter for Stottlemyer Construction Co. in Chesapeake. The victim's parents, P.J. and Corena Kitchen, live in Williamsburg.
