About	He was a 1950 graduate of McKinley High School; and was awarded his Bachelor of Arts from Capital University and Masters in Educational Administration from Kent State University. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea from 1955 to 1957. He was employed by the Canton City Schools for 35 years, 28 as an elementary principal at Lathrop, Wells and Clarendon Schools.
