Friday, Sept. 20th is "Come If You Can" at Fat Willy's and
Saturday, Sept. 21st is "The Main Event" at VFW Post 1215.
You are invited to our Mayo High School Class of 1974 50th Reunion. Please see the attached invitation and the reunion details below.
Friday night at Fat Willy’s: This is an informal gathering. We’ve reserved the ‘garage’ room. Cash bar and food. Please join us if you can. We suggest a 6 - 10 pm timeframe but arrive when you wish and stay as long as you like. Fat Willy’s has a patio and, weather permitting, it will be nice to also gather outside on what will hopefully be a beautiful Minnesota autumn evening.
Saturday night at the VFW Post 1215 from 6 - 11 pm: We’ll have a DJ (’87 Mayo grad who’s excited to do his thing for us and who takes requests!), decorations, and a light appetizer spread plus a dessert bar. Depending on the final number of tickets purchased, we’d also like to offer free drink tickets (regardless, beverages are very inexpensive).

TIME SENSITIVE: More Mayo HS '74 50th Reunion Fun (and one rsvp required).
Here are some ideas of things to do during our reunion weekend (in addition to our Friday and Saturday night gatherings).
Thursday evening, September 19th (Not organized)
Our Mayo Spartan football team will be beating Rosemount at Home (Mayo’s very own stadium, who knew?). Kickoff is 7 pm.
Friday afternoon, September 20th (Organized)
Classmate David Gibson hooked us up with the director of Mayo High’s planetarium for a stellar presentation (pun intended). Start time is promptly at 4 pm. We are allowed to walk around (quite literally, eh?) the halls of Mayo after the presentation.
Capacity for the planetarium is 52. At this time, we’d like to open this up to all who are attending the reunion event on Saturday evening and are ’74 grads. We may be able to include SO’s depending on the number of responses.
