| About | Ms. Melanie Beatrice Welch, born on December 3, 1955 and a resident of Mobile Al, died Friday September 27, 2013 at a local hospital. She was a graduate of the University of South Alabama and taught elementary school in Mobile County for many years. She was a longtime member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship. Melanie had a generous nature and loved children and animals. She is survived by her mother, Radie M. Welch of Daphne, AL, sister, Cheryl W. Larsen of Fairhope, AL and nephew Cole Larsen of Memphis, TN, as well as many special friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin St. from 12:00-1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com. |
