What is Tom Domres known for?

Tom Domres, a notable former student of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin, had a successful career in American Football. Born on October 19, 1946, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Tom went on to great things on the football field.

Domres was a skilled and determined player who specialized in the defensive tackle position. His high school years were spent in Gladstone, Michigan, from where he proceeded to further his education and athletic career, playing football at the collegiate level at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He was drafted in the 10th round of the 1968 NFL Draft, selected as the 268th pick overall. His professional career saw him play for two notable teams in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL).

Domres first played for the Houston Oilers from 1968 to 1971. He then made a move to the Denver Broncos, where he stayed from 1971 to 1972. Over his career, he played in 63 games, starting in 5 of them. He also managed to recover two fumbles and even scored a touchdown.

Unfortunately, Tom Domres passed away on November 8, 1999, in Rosemount, Minnesota.
