Raymond F. Heinzen, a notable alumni of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin, was a distinguished American politician greatly remembered for his service in the Wisconsin State Senate and the Wisconsin State Assembly. Born on May 11, 1918, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Heinzen's journey in public service began in the Assembly in 1960, and later he ascended to the Senate in 1968. Throughout his political career, he was a member of the Republican Party.

Beyond his political pursuits, Heinzen was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, a global Catholic fraternal service organization.
