MHS Footall History

Dear all MHS Grads: In 2013, all MHS football games were submitted to the Marlboro Historical Society on Elm St. back to 1888 for anyone to peruse.

Early MHS-HHS FB Game Found

While perusing old newspapers for early MHS football games, a MHS-Hudson HS football game was found to be played on Oct. 27, 1900: score 32-0. Please see the Worcester Telegram for Oct. 28, 1900, p. 17, col. 6, "Hudson a Plaything". A smaller article with the players listed is found in the Marlboro Enterprise for Oct. 29, 1900.
All previous MHS-HHS football listings begin with the Oct. 24, 1906 game. This information has recently been given to the MHS athletic director, Rich Riley and the MHS library.
