About	Kathleen A. nee Simulcik Pullin, 62 3 Sep 1950 - 3 Mar 2013 Marion L Steele High School - Class of 1968 "AMHERST - Kathleen A. nee Simulcik Pullin, age 62, of Amherst, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness. Born on September 3, 1950 in Esperance, New York she lived most of her life in Lorain County. She attended Holy Trinity School in Lorain and Amherst High School, graduating in 1968. After spending many years as a homemaker, Kathy began working as a bus driver for Amherst City Schools for 10 years. Following that, she had worked at Your Deli in Amherst. Kathy spent many seasons coaching girls youth softball in Amherst and she also played on various adult soccer teams in the area. Above all the things, Kathy found the greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren - especially outings to Cedar Point and spending time in her pool. She also enjoyed music and dancing, cooking, gardening and taking cruises with her husband. Kathy was a member of the Amherst Eagles #1442 and Alcoholics Anonymous. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Sr.; her daughter, Lisa Pullin Kardos, of Amherst; her sons Larry Jr., of Marysville, OH, John, of Amherst, and Dennis, of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Arielle Kardos, Michael Kardos, Jr., Christopher Pullin, Kirsten Long, Regan Pullin, Alivea Clark, Alex Pullin, and Sarah Pullin; her father, Joseph Simulcik; of Amherst; her brothers, Phillip, David, Tommy, John, and Paul; and her sisters, Elaine Simulcik, Iona "Joni" Benoit, and Angela Dotson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Simulcik (nee Lawyer) and her brother, Joseph Simulcik. The Pullin family invites friends to join them at a memorial gathering today, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 6th at 12:00 noon in the funeral center. Rev. Mark Pemberton, pastor of St. Peter U.C.C., Amherst will officiate.
