About	Jeannette Ann nee Kaiser Stipe , 61 6 Aug 1950 - 24 Jul 2012 Marion L Steele High School - Class of 1968 "AMHERST - Jeannette Ann Stipe (nee: Kaiser), 61 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at The Specialty Hospital in Amherst following a lengthy illness. She was born August 6, 1950 in Buffalo, New York. Jeannette had made her home in Amherst since 1956 and graduated from Amherst Steele High School in the class of 1968. Jeannette was employed as a draftsman for Emerson Company, the former Lorain Products for thirty-two years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. Jeannette loved music and played the drums for several local bands, including the Vermilion Community Band. As a youth Jeannette was a member of the Amherst Saddle Lites 4-H club. She enjoyed woodworking, quarter horses and taking care of her dogs. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of forty-two years Dennis R. Stipe; daughter Jeannette Jaye Stipe of Lorain, grandchildren Nehemiah and Layla Fluker; and her brother Robert Kaiser of South Amherst. She was preceded in death by her brother George Kaiser; and by her parents George C. and Jeannette Kaiser (nee: Jerome). Friends may call Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
