About	Paul F Hogrefe, 87 2 Nov 1924 - 25 Apr 2012 Amherst Central High School - Class of 1943 "Paul F. Hogrefe, age 87, entered into rest Wednesday April 25, 2012. He was born on November 2, 1924 in Amherst, Ohio. He lived in Avon for over 50 years coming from Amherst. He retired from B.F. Goodrich as a chemical operator, Avon Local Schools as a bus driver, and many years as a volunteer fireman for Avon. Paul was also a member of the LaGrange Engine Club, and Army Veteran WWII 83rd Infantry. He is survived by his children Mark (Ibolya) Hogrefe and Janet (John) Guzik, grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Cole, Ava Rose, David, Timea, and siblings Ruth Weiland, Wayne, Howard, Carl, and Ken. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary (nee Roling) Hogrefe, sister Marilyn Pressnel and brother Melvin Hogrefe. The family will receive friends at the MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Rd. Avon on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Closing prayers will be Monday at 9:30 AM followed by 10:00 AM Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery, Jaycox Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to V.N.A. Hospice, 2500 E. 22nd St. Cleveland, Ohio 44115 or Kemper House, 25880 Elm St. Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
