About	Class of 1983 4 Nov 1964 - 26 Jun 2010 "AMHERST â€” Robert Andris Janzik, 45 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born November 4, 1964 in Lorain. He was raised in Amherst, attended Marion L. Steele High School, the Lorain County Joint Vocational School, and concluded his vocational training at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Robert owned and operated Robert Janzik Masonry for twenty years. He also worked several years as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Lorain. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Survivors include his mother Helga H. Janzik (nee: Kolar) of Amherst; and his sister Ingrid Hill and her husband Bradley of Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father Herbert A. Janzik on November 12, 2006. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Rd., Amherst. The Rev. Julie G. Olmsted, interim pastor of First Congregational Church in Lorain, will officiate. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Congregational Church Endowment Fund; 423 Washington St., Lorain, OH 44052.
