About	Michael L Galvin, age 44 Class of 1975 19 Feb 1957 - 14 Oct 2001 Published: Wednesday, October 17, 2001 "He graduated in 1975 from Amherst High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball, and attended Cape Cod Community College in Falmouth, Mass. Galvin was employed as general manager of several hotels in Kentucky. ''He was a great father and grandfather,'' said his daughter, Niki L. Galvin of Burlington, Ky. ''Dad loved the gambling boats.'' He also enjoyed karaoke. Survivors in addition to Niki Galvin include his daughter Jessica A. Faulkner of Seattle, Wash.; son, Mike Galvin of Florence, Ky.; three grandchildren; his parents, Robert L. and Raynelle Galvin of Amherst; sisters Maureen Ciarrone of Wellington, Mary Kerr of Columbus and Colleen Scott of Hilliard; and brothers Bob Galvin of Maumee and Kevin Galvin of Findlay. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Ky. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael L.
