Stec, age 67 15 Mar 1942 - 5 Oct 2009 "AMHERST â€” Audrey M. Stec, age 67 years and a lifelong resident of Amherst, died Monday, October 5, 2009 at Community Health Partners, Lorain. Audrey was born March 15, 1942 to Ludwig and Susan Gambish Stec of Amherst. She was a 1960 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School, Amherst, and earned a bachelor degree in education from Kent State University followed by a master degree in library science from the University of Colorado. Audrey was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst. She was a homemaker who loved to read and enjoyed travelling. In addition to her parents, Audrey is survived by her brother Dennis Stec of Washington, Michigan and cousins in the Lorain County area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst. Rev. Lawrence N. Martello, pastor, will officiate.
