About	Gottgalf, David, 66, of Brandon, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 yrs, Maryann; Sons Jeffrey and Patrick, daughters, Heather, Kendra and Dawn. Sisters, Judy (James) Mofit, Penny and Bess (Denny) Brown. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren that he loved dearly; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Louis Gottgalf. Born in Mansfield, Ohio, he Graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1967; moved to Florida and joined the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office in 1975 where he proudly served the community for 23 years. David loved woodworking and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Events	Services will be Sunday February 21st at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, the viewing will be from 1:00 – 2:00 with the service to immediately follow at 2:00. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office, P.O. Box 3371, Tampa, Florida 33601.
