About BOALSBURG, Penn. -- Antrae LeShun Wilson, 35, died Monday, July 14, 2008, in Mount Nittany Hospital in State College, Penn., after a brief illness.

Mr. Wilson was born April 10, 1973, in Andalusia, Ala., and had grown up in Mansfield. He graduated in 1991 from Mansfield Senior High School and graduated with honors from Bradford College in Columbus with an Associate's degree in graphic arts. Antrae was employed with Accuweather in Boalsburg using his degree in graphic arts to draw weather maps. Antrae's family was important to him, once you met him you instantly liked him. He described himself as a "rare blue diamond" and everyone with whom he came in contact with agreed.

Antrae is survived by his mother, Gwen Lane of Mansfield; his fiance, Stephene James-Wilson of Boalsburg; two children, Antrae II and Destiny Wilson at home; a step-son, Kevin James at home; five brothers, Andre' (Tiffany), James, Gerado (Kenya) Wilson, and Charles Williams all of Mansfield and Robert Tarleton of New York, NY; seven sisters, Danielle Benjamin, Monique, Nicole, and Michelle Palmer, Sky and Sonya Tarleton all of New York, NY, and Yamika Wareington of Maryland; and maternal grandparents, Lillie P. Dawson of Andalusia and William Wilson of Sacramento, Calif. and numerous aunts and uncles including, Jackie Daniels and Sheron and Willie Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lane.

Friends may call after Friday 2 p.m. at the Ruth Anna Lee Williams Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Services and will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Williams Funeral Services, with the Rev. Johnny Heckard officiating. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery.

Family will also receive friends at the home of his mother, 279 Harker St., after 4 p.m. daily.
