About	Alan A. Newkirk, 57, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, with his family by his side. Alan was born in Daytona Beach and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Mainland Senior High School in 1971. Alan leaves his loving family, brother, Harry Newkirk; two sisters, Joy Abbott and Margie Churchman, all of Daytona Beach; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was a kind and loving person and will be missed dearly by many. There will be a private family memorial service. Any donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
