About	A Memorial Service for Suzanne Eileen Holy, 43, Ormond Beach, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL with a reception to follow. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., prior to service. A native of Daytona Beach & born on January 4, 1966 to Lon & Barbara Holy, Suzanne was an animal control officer for the Ormond Beach Police Department. She was a graduate of Mainland High School and was a member of every animal rescue organization in Volusia County. Besides animal rescue, Suzanne was involved with public speaking, Animal Colony, along with trapping, neuter & release programs. She served for two weeks with the Hurricane Katrina Animal Rescue and was Ormond Beach Police Department's Employee of the Year in 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Lon Holy and survivors include her mother & stepfather, Barbara & Gary Lamb, Daytona Beach; and her two brothers, Scott & Shawn Holy, both of Daytona Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made in Suzanne's name to either the Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare of Volusia County, Inc., 216 Yorktowne Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32119 or to Pawsibilities, 2480 Guava Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32128.
