About Memorial service for Gail Susan Mostert, 57, of Jeffrey St., Daytona Beach, who passed away Saturday, (July 11, 2009) at Halifax Medical Center, will be held Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill with Father Tim Daly officiating. Mrs. Mostert was born in Boston, MA and moved to this area as a young girl from Danvers, MA. A 1969 graduate of Mainland High School, Gail went on to work for the Volusia Co. Property Appraiser's Office for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of The Basilica of St. Paul and the HOG Club. Gail enjoyed motorcycle riding with her husband, cooking, traveling but especially cherished her time with family and friends. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donations be made to either American Cancer Society, 1737 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 140, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Tr., Port Orange, FL 32129. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Dennis; two daughters, Windy Blackwell (Eugene), New Smyrna and Misty Hergert (Joe), South Daytona; two sons, Brian Cameron (Mandi), Daytona Beach and Steven Mostert, Palatka; her mother, Stacey Parsells, Daytona Beach; a sister, Bulah Parsells-Brown, Greenwood, SC; two brothers, Lee Parsells (Diana), Daytona Beach and Patrick Parsells (Marcia), Hudson, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Raheem Blackwell, Michelle Blackwell, Eugene Blackwell, Joseph Hergert, Samantha Hergert, Tayler Hergert, Amber Hergert, Brooke Hergert, Ckai Cameron, Chloe Cameron and Caleb Cameron; four nieces, Holly Kapela, Christin Walton, Lindsay Parsells and Megan Parsells; and five nephews, Lee Parsells, Tony Parsells, Robert Parsells, Kenneth Parsells, and Nicholas Brown III.
