Joseph Nelson, class of 2007, recently won the prestigious Morris K. Udall Scholarship for his efforts to become a primary care physician in his Native American Community. The award involves a $5000 scholarship toward his tuition at Central Washington University and an all-expenses paid trip to Tucson, Arizona for the scholarship's annual orientation. Joseph has also been awarded the Indian Health Services scholarship in the amount of $24, 948. It's always amazing to see a Cougar achieve success beyond Lyle High School.
