She was a legal secretary and worked for a Dallas law firm and was a Baptist. Survivors are her parents, Mr and Mrs Bob Mitchell, Longview, son, Paul Noel McFarland, Mesquite; two sisters, Karen Chadwick, Kilgore and Susanne Ward, Mesquite; her maternal grandmother, Bessie Bosley, Santo TX.
