| About Me | CURRICULUM VITAE and BIBLIOGRAPHY EDward M. Amet, DDS, BS, MSD, FACP 2013 AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS In January 2013 the AAID asked Dr. EDward Amet to be on the Annual Meeting Planning Committee for the annual program. In February 2013 Dr. EDward Amet submitted an article to the Journal of Prosthodontics which was accepted for publication. It was titled “Management of compromised implant treatment with alveolar nerve repositioning and rescue implants,” and was written to provide clarification for a procedure which was unclear. In March 4, 2013 Dr. EDward Amet was awarded the “Significant Sig Award” which is the highest recognition for achievement in a brother’s professional career and civil endeavors. This award will be presented to him in a private ceremony in the fall at the Sigma Chi Fraternity House at the University of Puget Sound by Sigma Chi’s International Fraternity Executive Committee. In May 4, 2013 The Chicago Dental Society asked Dr. Amet to speak on retreatment of failing implants cases at the “Windy City Lectures”, 2015. In May 2013 The Journal of Prosthodontics requested that Dr. Amet prepare a variety questions to be presented with his article for publication in the Journal of Prosthodontics. In June Dr. Amet accepted an opportunity for being a presenter at the Chicago Midwinter Meeting. He will speak at the Windy City Lectures in 2015. Also in June Dr. EDward Amet was asked to become an ambassador of the ACPEF or American College Prosthodontic Education Foundation.
