The Reunion Committee has met and due to the current situation and for all concerned we have decided t0 rescheduled the celebration for Saturday, August 7th 2021, updated event details will follow later. Refunds to classmates who have prepaid will be sent to you. If anyone who was planning to be in Spokane, we are still looking at golf and bicycling on 7/31 and a possible picnic at Manito or Comstock on 8/1 at around 1 pm for those that are here.
Reunion Update:
The reunion committee has been agonizing over the decision about whether to go ahead with our event this next weekend with the numbers coming out about the Delta variant and we have decided to proceed. Naturally we are all concerned about the health and safety of us all and want our event to be special and not cause unwanted illness for anyone!
Here are some extra precautions we have decided on:
We have added more tables to give more space while eating, we are asking that all grads wear a mask when at the buffet while being served by the country club staff, we will be giving everyone a number when you arrive and asking that you get served in that group to keep lines small, and of course will have sanitizer available at each table.
PLEASE REMEMBER THERE IS A NO HOST CASH ONLY BAR AT MANITO DURING OUR DINNER
All other events, Fri at the PI, golfing, tour of LC and picnic at Manito on Sunday are also a go. You may want to bring a blanket to sit on at Manito or some folding chairs. We are hoping we can use the outdoor patio at the PI but if not there is the parking lot. LOL!
For those traveling from out of state, safe travels and for those of local grads keep safe. We are looking forward to seeing you all!

**Update Regarding Reunion Dinner**
After speaking with Laurie Hutchison Dolan, she helped us in making sure we would have a safe and fun evening. A call from the SRHD (Spokane Regional Health District) and some intervention from the Governor’s office, Dan Valez, Manager of the Manito Golf and Country Club just assured us that all servers will be wearing masks.
Laurie told him we would let all attendees know that Manito is doing everything they can to make this a safe and memorable reunion celebration.

To All 70' Classmates:
The reunion committee met this evening and because of concern for everyone have decided to reschedule the 50th Reunion to next year August 7th, 2021. Those individual's that have prepaid for the reunion I will be sending a refund to you. Also, it was discussed that if there was interest, the golf and bicycling activities could still be held on our original date of July 31st and we could have a picnic at either Manito or Comstock park on Saturday, August 1st around 1 pm.
