There will be a retirement party for former Lakota Football Coach Jerry Wasserman at the Town Hall in South Vienna, Ohio after 50 years of coaching high school football. Please no gifts just your presence if you can attend. Coach Wasserman was Lakota's head football coach for most of the 1960s. Have a great weekend.

Myron Cline Invitational -- September 15, 2012
The Lakota Invitational will now be called the Myron Cline Invitational to honor Myron Cline, a former Lakota Cross-Country coach.
On September 14, 2012, Myron and Yolanda Cline will be honored at the Lakota Varsity Football game for their service to Lakota. We are asking former Lakota runners to be part of this celebration. There will be a pregame presentation and a half-time reception. Additionally, there will be no cost to get in the game for former Lakota runners. The half-time reception will include cookies, juice, and a tour of the facility.

Lakota Schools Cat's Meow Replicas
The school buildings are taking orders for replicas of all of the buildings and the new building in the district. Forms are available online at the following website: www.lakota-sandusky.k12.oh.us. Each building is $15.00 or the Raider Pride Package (which includes all bldgs) is $75.00. All proceeds go to the Lakota Enrichment Fund. Orders are to be sent to Lakota Local Schools, PO Box 5, Risingsun, OH 43457.
You may also purchase a brick for the walkway into the new building. They are $35.00 and have 3 lines that can be engraved with 20 characters for each line. The form is also availabe on the website.
