Pre-reunion planning Class of 1967
Lakewood Class of '67 and those who went to Hebron/Lakewood but moved or just didn't graduate with the '67 class.
We are planning a lunch gathering on Saturday, October 22, 2016, for as many of our classmates that can join us. We plan to discuss some preliminary plans for our 50th Class Reunion to be held next year.
This date was picked because some of our senior football team and cheerleaders will be in town to celebrate the 50th reunion of Lakewood wining the LCL Championship in 1966. They have plans on Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday evening, but not lunch on Saturday.
We have lunch reservations for the Lakewood Class of ’67, at the Stacy’s Homestyle Buffet (the old Duff’s Buffet) at 833 S. 30th Street in Heath, 43056, for 11:45 AM. Each person will be responsible for their own meal costs.

I understand that there will be a special presentation at the Homecoming Game Oct.21st, 2016 to the Football team that one the State Championship. Can someone tell me what year class it was? I'm thinking 1967

All 80s Class Gathering
3rd Annual All 80s Class Gathering. If you graduated during the 80s, join us for an evening of memories and fun. FRIDAY, July 24th at 7PM. We will be gathering at AmVets - 9293 Thorn Twp Rd - 79 NW, Thornville (see detailed directions below). Family friendly environment. If you can’t get a baby sitter, bring the kids. Cash event - reasonable prices for food and drinks. We are the guests of Brian Vierstra (1983) – membership is not required.
Help spread the word! We would like to see someone from every class attend.

Directions:
Take SR13 south from IS70. Go about 2 miles to the traffic light at Thornport, turn right and stay to the left (the road forks hard right and a slow left). Go about 50 yards and park in the gravel lot on the right (across from the TC Market). Enter through the gated area to the left of the AmVets building. (A sign will be posted on the gate to enter). The AMVETS sits on the east side of the Lake and also has dock access from the east side canal.

LHS Gathering - Nov 15 2008
The class of 1983 will be celebrating its 25th reunion on Saturday November 15th at Harbor Hill Country Club. The class is planning a post-reunion event to include all Lakewood Alumni. This is a gracious offer and a great time to reconnect with classmates.
The event will include a DJ, dancing, drinking and fellowship. It is $10* at the door, payable to Jodi Shepard, Kathy (James) Weekly or Pam (Mallott) Thompson. Drinks are available at cost. The post event will start at 8:30pm and run through 11:00pm. Dust off your 80’s wear and practice your break dancin’ moves!
Growing up at Lakewood High was an experience that only alumni can understand. It is those teenage experiences which serve to strengthen an already powerful bond between friends. Years have past, we’ve gone our separate ways, but the bond of our friendship remains. If you cherish the friendships you had in high school – or you would just like to meet some new friends, $10 is a small price to pay to spend an evening with your classmates.

Diana Lang Memorial Fund
Dear Friends and Family Members,
Sometimes when others are in need we are granted an opportunity to reach out in ways that confirm our humanity, that allow us to show our love, and that demonstrate the goodness and generosity that can become obscured by the pace and demands of our day-to-day lives. Diana and Matt Lang’s family’s situation is such an opportunity.
As many of you know, Diana had been struggling since last year with breast cancer that had metastasized rapidly and aggressively. Most recently she had been moved to Gilchrist Hospice Center, near Towson, where she received gentle and sensitive care until her death.
As a way to help Matt cope with the cost of childcare, since Diana was a stay-at-home mom, and to offer an expression of concern for their family, a fund has been established at their local bank to which you may make contributions.

Homecoming Parade
Calling all classes for the 2nd annual Lakewood homecoming Parade on October 1st, 2008.
Last year the Hebron Business Association started the tradition over that had been here in the past of the homecoming parade. We had over 70 entries and are hoping for even more this year.
We would like for each of the classes to have a float...car..or what ever and be represented in the parade. So far we have heard from the class of "73 and hope to have more.

Get Togethers
Class of '66. We need to fill this Alumni membership. We do try to get together each year in the summer, play golf and have dinner and go dancing at different places. The Duncans as well as Randy try to come up from Florida. Susan Renick comes in from sunny California. Alot of you from Ohio, the Taylors, Linda Mash, Rosalie Parkinson, Ray Pintzer, Sal from Delaware, Spoke and many more make this a great time. Join the Alumni program so we can all stay informed and chat.
