Christine Marie (Koontz) Richards - Former area teacher
Services for Christine Marie Richards, 36, of Perrysburg, will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the Toledo First Seventh Day Adventist Church, with the Rev. Bruce Juhl officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Zion Ridge Cemetery, Thornville.
Mrs. Richards died August 17, 1992, at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Inpatient Unit in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born July 20, 1956, in Columbus to Carl and Doris (Padget) Koontz of Thornville.
She taught grades 1 through 4 in Zanesville from 1978 to 1980. From 1980 to 1991, she taught at Toledo Junior Academy. She also was a member of the Toledo First Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Richards; her parents; one daughter, Natalie, and one son, Gregory, both of the home; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Sutton of Thornville.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the J. Jeffrey Frettin Funeral Home, 5045 Sylvania Ave., Toledo.
