| About | Sadly, we just learned of Andy's passing in August 2007. His daughter says he died peacefully with her by his side. |

On one of Andy's numerous hospital stays back in our hell-raisin' days, Dan McAvoy and I went to smuggle some beer in to him in the hospital and when we walked in he said "Ron! Don! Dan!" so forever after Dan and I called each other RonDonDan. Later that day we got Andy in a wheelchair, took him to one of the bathrooms in the hallway, stood guard outside while he burned one in there then wheeled him back. Andy phoned me shortly before he died and was all real chatty and gabby for an hour or so, then at the end said "Well, see ya' in the next life if not this one". I said "You're not plannin' somethin' are ya'?" and he said "We'll see." I figure he hit the afterlife with a light they could see from the back row.
