About	Very sad to report Mike Garbarino was shot by an 18 year old "troubled boy" on May 8th, 2006. He died after several surgeries on May 17th in Virginia. He had been a police officer for 23 years. He leaves a wife and two daughters. I understand a fund has been set up for them. Please check out the Officer Down Memorial Page for details. I, for one, am heartbroken at the manner in which he left us.
