About	Lonney passed away from Multiple Sclerosis complications at age 60. Even with challenges of this relentless disease, he tutored children, volunteered at the soup kitchen, and though eventually became quadriplegic, Lonney oil painted scenery that sold and won blue ribbons at state fairs. His friendly way and funny jokes entertained. He had his van retrofitted so he could continue work with USDA and we could travel for years.
