1 Year Anniversary Death of Christine Hallett (Amacher)
My name is Shirley VanCuren. Chris passed away last year October 13, 2009. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She passed away from complications of diabetes. She had kidney failure and heart problems. She is survived by her husband, Ed Hallett, mother, Rosalie Amacher of Arkansas, brother, Walter and sister, Shirley VanCuren of East Aurora. She is also survived by son, Richard Dean ( Cheri) and Lisa Derickson, (Jeff) and 4 grandchildren. I just wanted to let the Class of 1971 know.

Chad Otrosinka - Tree Planting & Tree Marker in front of LS High School
Hello. My name is Krista Heller (now Gasiorowski) Class of 1996. My dear cousin Chad Otrosinka Class of 1997, passed away from Ewing's Sarcoma (rare form of bone cancer) 7 months ago, 2/23/10. In honor of his life and legacy, his father Keith planted 2 small trees and an engraved marker inbetween them. These are located in front of the main entrance to the HS on the main lawn adjacent to where the busses will pull up. Please stop by to view them.
Chad was an ISA Certifed Arborist who took immense pride in his career and his love for nature. He is survived by his wonderful wife Jovonna, and their daughter Ember, whom Chad unfortunately never had the chance to meet. A special Thanks to the entire Forrest Family who essentially became his and to his loving Mother Roseann Standera (Becker), devoted brother Jeremy and to my sisters Kelly and Kimmy - & many close friends like Mark Preyer and Matt Hazzard & many many more relatives.

In Memory of Chad Otrosinka - OPEN MIC AT THE PARK - Evans Town Park
This event takes place this Sat Sept 4th....from 12-10. Food and Beverage will be available for purchase. Chad grabbed a mic every chance he got, he would love to see this.
Proceeds benefit the Ewing's Sarcoma Cancer Research Foundation.

Highland is turning 50
